FAQ

Answers to questions we often receive from employers, and to questions from job seekers.

For Employers

Do consultations and candidate proposals cost anything?

Consultations, hearings and candidate proposals are free of charge. Placement fees and dispatch rates vary depending on the field and conditions, so please feel free to contact us first.

We need someone urgently — how quickly can you introduce candidates?

If there is a candidate among our registered talent who matches your conditions, we may be able to propose them right away. The timeframe varies with headcount and conditions, so please first tell us when you need them by.

Which areas do you cover?

Dispatch is centered on Tokyo, Chiba and Kanagawa. For SSW placement and registered support, please also ask us about other areas.

What is the difference between dispatch and SSW placement?

With dispatch, staff employed by JTS work under your company's direction and supervision, and the staff are mainly part-time workers. With Specified Skilled Worker, your company employs the worker directly, and JTS introduces the talent and provides support as a Registered Support Organization. In some fields — such as automobile transport and logistics warehouses — only direct employment is permitted.

What does SSW "registered support" actually do?

We carry out, on commission from the accepting company, the support that must be provided under a support plan. It includes pre-entry guidance, assistance securing housing, life orientation, regular interviews, and consultation support including in workers' native languages.

What is the most important point to watch when hiring an SSW driver?

Conversion to a Japanese license (foreign license conversion). Since the tightening in October 2025, obtaining a license takes time. At JTS, we check each candidate's license status in advance and introduce them while managing the schedule through to acquisition. Please see the SSW (Tokuteigino) page for details.

For Job Seekers

Does it cost anything to be introduced to a job?

We never charge job seekers a placement fee. Please start by registering through the application form.

Is it OK if I can't speak much Japanese?

The Japanese level required differs by job. Please just tell us your current Japanese level (a conversational benchmark) as it is. We will introduce jobs that fit you.

How do I register?

Please send your information via the application form. If a job matches your conditions, we will contact you. We also post job information on our Facebook page, "Japan Jobs – Việc làm JTS".
